Hello there, 2012! It has indeed arrived, and I welcome it.
Over holidays, once I am caught up in the happy hustle and bustle of shopping, eating, meeting friends, and enjoying family, somehow I seem to neglect posting photos and such for you all! This winter, I started a new job at Anthropologie, and have been loving it. I spent Christmas in Birmingham with my parents, and then traveled to Louisville for New Years! How thankful I was to be in both of those places for such special times. I arrived in Louisville and TJ surprised me with a note, records, roses, and chocolate. Man oh man. We immediately swapped Christmas presents, part of mine being reallyyyyyy awesome new leopard loafers to replace my old flats. Throughout the weekend we listened to records over and over again, met friends for dinner, got all dressed up (I got a killer deal on a dress from Anthro by Ganni), ate at our favorite places, and toasted to 2012 with sparkling cider and his entire family. We thanked the Lord for everything He had done for us in the year, and also what He did for us on the cross. We have so much to be grateful for!
I will leave you with a song that TJ arranged and recorded for me as a Christmas present. I hope you enjoy it like I do…it brings tears to my eyes!
